Anse Dufour

A drop-off from zero to twenty metres, and a crevice from three

Town : Les Anses d'Arlet

The drop-off, right from the surface.

Anse Dufour and Anse Noire adjoin, separated by a point. The dive follows a drop-off starting at the surface and falling to twenty metres, with a crevice reachable from three metres down.

A wall that starts at zero

That is rare and valuable. Most walls require you to descend before there is anything to see. This one starts at the surface: put your face in the water and the relief is already there.

The direct result: the site suits a try dive, a child, someone still hesitating, even a companion who stays at the surface with mask and snorkel. Nobody is left on the boat.

The crevice at three metres

Three metres is swimming-pool depth. It is therefore the ideal crevice for a first time: you go through with the surface just above you, and you can come up at any moment.

Turtles

The Anse Dufour and Anse Noire area is known for its turtles, to the point that they are watched with mask and snorkel straight from the beach.
